12. Kiss Someone By the Water
While some may not consider the Schuylkill Banks in Philadelphia to be “water”, as its definitely much better described as “motor oil” - it doesn’t take away the excitement of kissing someone new who has you completely captivated.
This place has actually been pretty significant in my life in the last month since I was introduced to it, and this picture actually makes it look quite pretty. I spent practically an entire day getting to know a bunch of really great people here on the 4th of July, as we were camped out, picnicking, shoving ham in our faces, and having a seriously great day. I’ve walked through here on my way to and from 30th Street Station when I’ve got extra time to kill, just because it reminds me of good times. And of course, KISSING.
I’ll spare you the gory details, but I spent the entire day adventuring with a pretty awesome dude, and I had finished making this list the day before and was anxious to cross something off. We had been kissing from New Jersey all the way back into Philly, and winded up walking along the banks on the way back home. I excitedly realized that if I kissed him here, I could cross #12 off my list, despite the fact that he jokingly disagreed that the Banks couldn’t actually be considered water. Thankfully, he didn’t disagree enough for it to not happen, and I’m happily scratching this one off the list. :)
